From The Sheds’ debut in 1992, until their initial split in October 1994, Paul was lead guitarist with The Shedmen. Somewhat younger than the other members of The Shedmen, he was initially unfamiliar with some of the older punk material that the rest of the band were keen to cover, such as The Jam, Clash, Undertones etc, but he gave it his all, and provided high octane solos to all the songs (except “Passenger” and “I don’t like Mondays”, where we did not allow him to play!)

Additionally, Paul does the occasional guest appearance for the Tholtan Builders, back on the island, most recently in May 2006

So where is he now, you may ask?

Well, he lives across on the mainland nowadays, although still comes back to the island regularly, and checks in via e-mail from time to time.  Paul works for Mencap, is doing a sound engineering course and has got his own band together, called “Fatlab” playing bonkers pop songs.
